Terms of Service
Last Updated: 14 September 2026.
1. Who we are
Workish is operated by Aely Group Pty Ltd. In this Privacy Policy, “Aely Group”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Aely Group. “Workish” refers to our website, web application, mobile application and related services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Aely Group. By creating an account or continuing to use Workish, you agree to these Terms..
2. The service
Workish is a private career journal. It lets you record your workday in text and voice, save milestones, proof and documents, prepare for reviews and 1:1s, and — if you choose — track salary information behind an additional verification step.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Workish within the plan you have selected (Free or paid). We may update, improve or change features over time.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Workish. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Workish. That includes:
using Workish for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
uploading malware, or probing, scanning or attacking our systems or security measures;
scraping or bulk-extracting data that isn't yours;
reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service, or circumventing plan limits.
AI-generated content (such as weekly recaps and review preparation) may be inaccurate. You are responsible for what you choose to save, share or rely on, and for having the rights to any content you upload.
5. Your content
Your journal entries, recordings, documents and other content belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide Workish to you. You can export your data at any time from Billing & plan.
6. Our intellectual property
We own Workish itself — the software, design, branding and documentation. These Terms don't transfer any of that to you.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, in addition to these Terms. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Billing & plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep paid features until then.
8. Free limits and downgrades
Free plans have limits (for example on entries, active jobs, storage and AI summaries). If a paid plan ends and your account is over the free limits, we give you a grace period to export or trim your content. After that, your account becomes read-only until you upgrade or come back within the limits. We never delete your journal content because you downgrade.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep Workish available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates and events outside our control may cause downtime.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, don't pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time. When an account ends, your content is deleted or de-identified as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to what we're required to keep by law.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Workish is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Workish doesn't provide financial, legal or career advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including lost profits, data or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, including for fraud, or rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
12. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you other rights. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We're not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you through Workish or by email.
